About the role

We have successfully worked with our partner Hilti Entwicklungsgesellschaft several times in the past. Since the company is constantly improving its software solutions and platforms, our partner is now looking for a Development Engineer Electric Motors (m/f/d) in Kaufering.

Here you are employed as an external employee (m/f/d) at Academic Work and work for our customer on site. The collaboration is initially limited to 18 months.

Job duties

As a Development Engineer Electric Motors (m/f/d), you will work on electric drive development/simulation projects to ensure cost, schedule and quality targets. Your tasks are:

  • Development of components in the field of electric drive development
  • Subproject management with all associated responsibilities and requirements
  • Supervision of component tests and testing of electric motors
  • Supporting various measures and tasks in order to be able to react flexibly to changes/adaptations

We are looking for

  • Completed university studies in the field of electrical engineering or mechatronics
  • First professional experience in the field of electrical engineering or mechatronics desirable
  • Advanced knowledge in small electrical drives and their design (electromagnetic, mechanical & thermal)
  • Very good knowledge of English (C1) and knowledge of German advantageous
